Lights, Camera, Action!

Monday, June 25, 2007
Today was a pretty simple day. I slept for most of the day because I didn’t have work until 7pm. At work Ethan and I did the activities for the teen summer camp. So we planned activities for three days and tonight was Hollywood night. We talked about movies and we had the kids make up scenarios and act them out. Before we had them perform their scenes, Ethan and I did a scene for them. It was of a guy breaking up with his girlfriend and I played the boyfriend and Ethan played the girlfriend. The student’s thought that it was really funny because Ethan is so over the top. Most of the student’s scenes were based on someone getting robbed and the police showing up. One group did an alien invasion scene and another group did a spin on Little Red Riding Hood. All of the scenes we pretty funny and I acted as the director and recorded them. The student’s enjoyed themselves and some of them really got into acting out their parts. After work some of the interns decided to go out; we went to a club in Wuchang called Queen’s. It has an Egyptian theme and this dance floor that bounces up and down—after a while it makes you quite nauseous. I wish I could have taken pictures inside of the club, but they don’t allow picture taking because they said that celebrities come there and I thought to myself, “what celebrities come to Wuhan?”
